Claris N technology (where N stands for Neutral pH-value) is based on Ion exchange technology. Thanks to that it can remove total hardness coming both from sulphates (gypsum) and carbonate hardness coming from bicarbonate. It results also convenient to use when compared to softeners which need regeneration and refill.
